Nasuni Access Anywhere Server provides a shared multi-cloud Nasuni Access Anywhere Server solution which is an entry point to multiple clouds.
The Nasuni Access Anywhere Server is the fastest easiest way to integrate data assets across a company, or across a service that spans multiple data assets.
It is important to note that the Nasuni Access Anywhere Server is not a storage service in the traditional sense. It federates a variety of different on-premises and on-cloud data silos and provides a single access point for data.
Here you will find the latest API documents and any source code that may be made available. There is also a link below to an online test harness and documentation.
The API supports a REST interface style which can be easily consumed from all modern languages.
REST stands for Representational State Transfer. It relies on a stateless, client-server, cacheable communications protocol and in virtually all cases it is the HTTP protocol that is used. As a programming approach, REST is a lightweight alternative to Web Services and RPC. Despite being simple, REST is fully-featured, there is basically nothing you can do in Web Services that cannot be done with a RESTful architecture.
Storage sub-systems currently supported are listed here.
The Nasuni Access Anywhere Server has a rich API as demonstrated by the various client apps that are available. It can be used for a broad range of integrations and/or dedicated applications.
All of the current Nasuni Access Anywhere Server clients have been built using this API.
